VH1's (Delusional) List of 100 Greatest Artists

So, VH1 has put together yet another contrived list of the 100 greatest artists to ever walk the planet. At least their 1998 edition had the likes of Tom Waits, Miles Davis, Sam Cooke, and Carole King; now they're nowhere to be found. Instead the likes of Radiohead Lite Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Sade, and Guns N' Roses (#33!!?) have somehow found their way onto the list. Not that VH1 is even relevant, but it would be nice for artists who hadn't necessarily had commercial success be represented too. Here's the list in its entirety:
